This week’s segment is an interview with Roxanne Garcia, Co-Director of Heirloom Farmers Markets.
We are chatting about the Viva La Local Food Festival which will be held Sunday, November 16th from 9-5.
In the earlier portion of the Festival, the Farmers market will be open. And, there will be a “veggie valet” in case you want to hang out for awhile, they will keep your food in a fridge for you!
The Festival is $4.00 admission with kids under 12 getting in free. Plates of food will be $5.00. Parking is Free.
This is the second ever Viva La Local Food Festival. The first one was earlier this year.
The Festival will be held @ Rillito Park Race Track, 4502 N. 1st Avenue in Tucson.
