Show Notes

This week’s Nonprofit Spotlight shines on Hannah Woelke, Executive Director of Desert Survivors. Their vision is to create an inclusive sanctuary where the community can learn to live in harmony with our fragile bioregion. Desert Survivors is dedicated to providing adults with disabilities the opportunity to develop occupational skills, gain work experience, and advocate for their own employment goals. This is accomplished through their native plant nursery and commercial landscaping services, where they embrace and protect the ecology of our desert home. Updates about upcoming Desert Survivor events can be found on their website.
