This week’s Nonprofit Spotlight shines on Victor Valencia and T.C. Tolbert, co-founders of Building Out Safer Spaces (BOSS). BOSS creates a physical space where women, queer, trans, and femme of center (WQTF) folx can learn, create, network, and explore career opportunities in the building trades. Each year, BOSS opens its space to an artist and provides the tools, guidance, and resources needed to empower them in their craft. BOSS also partners with industry leaders to bring the community opportunities to learn more about trades and works with LGBTQ+ nonprofits to organize building and renovation days in support of housing…
