BUFFELGRASS & BURRITOS
A “BEYOND” Volunteer Day at “A” MTN
Sat., January 10, 2015, 8 am to Noon
“A” Mountain/Sentinel Peak Park
“Beyond” is a celebration of life and the outdoors, to honor victims of the January 8, 2011 tragedy. Join us for this 4th annual event at “A” Mountain for buffelgrass pulling and trash pickup. Please wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, a hat, and bring sunscreen. Tools, gloves, water, snacks and burritos provided.
Bring your friends and family, volunteer, and take a hike on the new trails!
A special thanks goes out to Carrington College for sponsoring the event and providing burritos for volunteers.
Directions: From 1-10, go West on Congress Street to just before it intersects with Silverbell, turn south on Cuesta and head all the way up the mountain and park in the top parking lot (not at the “A”, but at the top of the hill).
