This week’s segment is an interview with Molly McCloy and Rebecca Curtiss. They were married in California a year ago. They recently had another wedding ceremony and then reception here in Tucson.
They didn’t want to have an extravagant wedding. And, they were wanting to be considerate of our planet. So, they planned a “No Waste Wedding”.
Here, they give us some great ideas on how to have a more sustainable and community oriented event of any kind.
For a potluck, Molly recommends Perfect Potluck. Potlucks are a great way to reduce food waste.
Rebecca and Molly’s wedding was held the Whistle Stop Depot a venue in Downtown Tucson that has been “renovated with recycled, reclaimed, and handmade materials”.
For their honeymoon, Molly and Rebecca requested financial help towards their trip to Mexico. They recommend the website: Traveler’s Joy.
