Show Notes

hannah-hunt This Thesis Thursday we are introduced to Adele Koutia. Adele is majoring in physiology and neuroscience which entails studying parts of the brain. The specific part that Adele finds most intriguing is the hippocampus. The hippocampus as described holds much resemblance to an internal GPS, helping you to remember a certain path that may lead to a certain outcome. How she goes about researching such an unknown subject is through rats. Specifically, how age can affect the hippocampus of a rat, or perhaps, an aging anything. Through her research Adele not only hopes to learn more about the nuance of neuroscience, but also aid in helping people who suffer from severe memory loss. Later, we get to hear The Beatles’ Norwegian Wood and Vampire Weekend’s hannah hunt. The mystique that surrounds this entire interview will not only  leave you inspired, but deeply captivated by the depths of our own subconscious. All this and more on The Home Stretch.
