This is the first Episode of 2020 with Salina Barajas, owner and curator of the Mi Reina Mobile Boutique. Selina share's her journey and the experiences that helped her fulfill a dream that has brought a unique vibe to South Chukson (Tucson). While raising her two daughters, Sofia Luna and Mia Sol, she has dedicated time to building, creating, and supporting her community. With the help of family and friends Selina's vision has come to life and is now as mobile as it can be. "Mi Reina" was an expression her nana Erlinda would refer to her and other grand-daughters. Through her definition of what the phrase means to her, Selina says, "Reina translates to much more than physical beauty, but strength, wisdom, empathy and compassion. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by women who carry these traits and honor them." Maybe you've seen the mobile boutique throughout the city of Tucson, and if you haven't then you’ll definitely want to listen closely to how the story goes. Thank you for tuning in!
