  This episode of The Nonprofit Spotlight shines on Liz Casey, organizer with Community Care Tucson (CCT), a youth/BIPOC/LGBTQ+ organized mutual aid group that has been providing resources and support to unsheltered folks and others in need since 2020. Their main activities focus on distributing water, gatorade, food, clothing, hygiene and first aid products to folks once a week in Armory Park. They connect people with other resources such as medical care, employment, shelter, furniture, and transportation. CCT also informs the public about people in need and upcoming actions and events, while organizing with other like-minded groups for systemic change.…
